Why a BEP Doesn't Get Followed

A BIM execution plan or EIR mixes requirements, rationale, roles and examples in prose across dozens of pages. To know whether a project complies, someone has to read all of it, pull out the actual testable requirements, phrase each as a question, and work through the list — then keep that assessment current as the project moves. That work is rarely done, and when it is, it lives in one coordinator's spreadsheet. The result is a standard everyone signed up to and nobody measures against.

What StandardsChecker Does

StandardsChecker presents a standard as plain questions grouped by topic. You pick a standard, answer each — yes / no / partial, with notes — and get:

  • A compliance score broken down by section, so weak areas are obvious.

Each question traces back to the clause it comes from, so a “no” tells you exactly what to go and read.

All scoring runs entirely in the browser. No answers are stored and nothing is transmitted — so a delivery team can honestly assess itself against a client's EIR without worrying about who sees a half-finished, unflattering result.

The site ships with checkers built from published standards, but the real use is a private checker built from your project's actual documents: this project's BEP, the client's EIR, your BIM manual.
